French Country powerpoint/ food presentation project
DUE : Tuesday, May 10 Major grade
I. History report of the country & its foods : items by slide: TEN SLIDES in FRENCH:
1. a map of the country / where located in world – country name
2. a picture of the flag of the country, the capital, population and size of the country.
3. capital of country – at least 3 monuments/ famous places and pictures
4. any special celebrations or feasts and foods involved
and special eating habits or customs with pictures
5. the typical foods of the country with pictures
6. government info – king, president, etc
7. famous people from this country – art, music, theater, etc? and pictures
8. history – major events and pictures – wars, independence, etc.
9. tourism – where would you go if you went to visit
10. music – find ONE song/ video to embed or link
II. Food presentation:
Prepare or purchase ONE food from the country to share with the class:
main dish, vegetable or salad, or dessert.
5 point bonus: Centerpiece or other artifacts from the country as part of
the display.
POINTS:
Food dish 20 points
Powerpoint – 10 slides – 70 points (8 per slide)
Presentation – 10 points
USE OF A TRANSLATOR WILL RESULT IN A 50 POINT DEDUCTION.
