ReplyDeleteI got 7 out of 12 on the BBC one, and a 14 out of 40 on the ESL):
I'm still doing the flashcards but my best score was 465 :D
The first radio thing that I did was about a boy that has autism and I think he had artistic talent and he was reciting text and answering questions the reporter was asking him.
The second one was a reporter commenting on the financial situation in Africa and then he talks to a specialist on the phone about the political situation and then a third reporter chimes in last.
The last one that I listened to was two reporters reporting on the Egyptian victory over Ghana and the millions of fans that went. There was a jungle, chanting, and horns.
Le espagnol(spain) scoring the last goal at the world cup, having them win the world cup. This goal was scored by my baby David Villa #7(: He be so sexy.

The male drivers insult them and they have to deal with alot of insults from men in general. Their appearance is important as well.
Les Francais aiment-ils la viande
French people eat a lot of meat. The first two people said they don’t eat meat.
L'espagne championne du monde
Spain won the World Cup for soccer. The journalists are speaking from the stadium and somewhere else. The journalist at the stadium is exited and you can tell he’s really into the game as the time passes. The end result was Spain won by 1-0. This is the first time they’ve won.

Daniela and Anna-
ReplyDeleteTest:
Daniela- 45%
Anna- 35%
the test was really really hard. why did you do that to us? Our self esteem has been permanently damaged. Thanks.
Listening:
We listened to an article about a little girl talking about her autistic brother. Her brother hits other kids at school. She has had thoughts that autism is contagious. (It's not) Her brother claps sometimes. We did okay in this one. It was hard because it was a little girl, even though she wasn't autistic. She should learn to enunciate.
The other article was about poor homeless kids in St. Petersburg. It's become a growing issue in Russia. Some of them sleep at their friends house or at the park. Thankfully they don't join gangs. Whew. It's still a good tourist site. Don't be afraid of them, they're just poor. We did really really bad on the questions.
The flashcards were awesome. I learned how to say thumb. Anna's high score was a 630. Daniela's was a 351. Daniela was sad. We had fun today. Let's come back next class.
P.S- we want more bo burnham.
P.P.S- What can we do about ordering pizza?
P.P.P.S- We'll let you know if anything else comes up. And you're our favorite teacher. Byee!
