select all 50 questions, take the test, and write down your score.

scroll through the french news videos and pick THREE to watch. write down the title of the video and a brief summary. you might have to watch it more than once! test your listening skills!
COMMENT - comment below with your name, score on the test, names of videos you watched, and summaries for your grade today.

You are going to Paris! Plan a trip to Paris for TWO DAYS. Complete the info on the handout and turn in at the end of class. FIND WEBSITES FOR:
1. Hotel - check room rates
2. Restaurants for each day - SIX different places - be sure to find places that have a menu so you can estimate the cost for a meal - LIST what you are going to eat and the price
3. Places to go / things to do - 5 things EACH DAY. Write down the cost if there is one, some might be free!
4. FOUR things to buy - write down the name of the store/place, what you are buying, and the cost. BE SURE it is an actual store, NOT just a website.
EXTRA CREDIT: find a high school in France or Belgium that has a decent website. COMMENT below this post with the website and your name for extra points. You can't use a website someone else has already said!!! reminder: "high school" in france is "lycee."

1. go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_French_people and choose a person from the list. YOU MUST COME SIGN UP FOR YOUR PERSON - NO ONE CAN DO THE SAME PERSON!
2. Start researching your person and take notes in English on the worksheet.
1. EVENTS - things they DID (actions) can include dates/years if available
2. DESCRIPTIONS - what they were, used to do, looked like, character, personality traits
Turn in worksheet at end of class today for a daily grade.
If you have time, begin collecting photos to use in your timeline - save to your hard drive. DO NOT print any photos today.
